HEY THERE, IT'S JOHNSON

SOMEONE on this journal is done with artist's block and I can only owe that to the great time I had at Otakon. It was was a blast, but really it was because of all the awesome people. I mean me and made some great headway for studiopaintedblade just being there with something to sell, and I got reunited with my con-fams consisting of and Kedrin, along with my new bros Mike Ha and Aaron Greenspan. Too many good times with those few alone. So when they get dA accounts I say we bomb them with comments .

Also, I met a ton of cool artists in person after being a huge fan of their work for some time. Most notable of them being the one-man party , who's technique and fun attitude have inspired me for quite some time (I GOT AN AWESOME NARUTO PIECE FROM HIM which will be on my wall along with some Zankou). Before him, I got to meet (who I gotta have a Super Streetfighter IV match with on XBOX Live sometime soon ;D). I also met , sweetest of sweeties who hooked a johnson up with some Nigel fanart. Then there was who made me pocket her cosplay whiffle ball while at lunch (I looked like I was happy to see EVERYONE. also, it's more like i volunteered -,..,-) but she undid this grave injustice by dropping off a commission piece in person! to me! I also met the dynamic/comedic and hecta fun-time again after a year and she made me laugh so much i teared up a bit (rapidly sketching at her artrade as we speak!) I also got to interact with who was so sunny that she charmed our whole table. Can't say all I want to about these ladies, though, or you'll TL:DR me (if ya haven't already). There was also who's style left a HUGE impression on me so I'm watching him for more, who was super-cool to meet in person and who hi-fived a brother with a hand full of limited edition Chimbley Sweep comic (which, I dunno if you heard, is on sale now at his website).

I also gotta save a para for one of the sweetest, finest women I know, (and her mom who's pretty cute too). Thanks for keepin' a big guy nourished ;D, who's got to have the most electric smile EVER, (WHO I WANT TO ARTRADE WITH RIGHT NOW, DARNIT), and who's pretty danged adorable ALONG with being  seriously talented(we must pixelmator soon!). There was also the mad-cool who made me feel really welcome every time I ran into him in the Alley. *EDIT* and I can't forget the most awesome and driven and who shared some blazing sunlight with me while we waited outside during the fire fiasco. is a good man, thanks for not walkin' out on my improvised standup routine! And if memory serves me correctly, I was able to speak to  , , and was sweet enough to share some table space with me. must trade more art secrets with her.

From there, I wish that I would've had time to meet Felipe Smith, , (who I think was actually sitting with but I only got to see her back. It's like some sort of dramatic forshadowing... hmmm.), Homade Kazuko and (heard she's a sweetheart). There were so many other awesome artists, cosplayers and fans we had a chance to meet and spend time with that I'd be typing for pages to catch up. I'll be facebooking some pics and scanning in some pieces from the con that I hope you people like.
