If ever there was a time to proceed with plans for a future in comics, that'd be now. As of today I am currently unemployed via layoff. No big deal on that, but this may be the hour where I could either make advancement in comics and illustration, or I could be set back a while as I search for the same kind of job I just lost. I'm hoping for the prior, but I'll work like it's already true. In the meantime, I'll probably be opening commissions up shortly as well as polishing up my portfolio here along with my other sites. Just a journal entry that I hope will mark the beginning of something good. Precautionary TL;DR: I'm going to clean up all my sites.  Anyway, I've been rifling through all my social pages and blogs. I'm trying to seriously make something happen with comics and illustration in general, whether through my webcomic or through working commercially within the industry. I've been considering moving to Chicago, as the scene seems much more robust there than it is here in St. Louis, Missouri. I'll make my decision once I've visited both coasts, though.
